01Scope & introduction

This Privacy Policy details how we collect, process, protect, and manage the personal and sensitive data of our Users in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act, 2023) and Information Technology Act, 2000. By accessing or using the Divinifyy App, you consent to our practices described herein.

02Data we collect

• Personal identifiers. Full legal name, email address, mobile phone number, profile picture, gender, and preferred faith/language.
• Astrological & spiritual parameters. Exact birth date, birth time, and birth location — collected strictly upon user request to calculate astrological horoscopes and chart analysis.
• Location coordinates. Real-time GPS location coordinates and address details provided to locate, match, and dispatch nearby priests/pandits for in-person home pujas.
• Activity & communication data. Consultation booking history, chat communications, audio/video call logs, payment transaction IDs, and customer support queries.
• Technical identifiers. Device ID, IP address, operating system, and FCM tokens used for push notifications and application stability logs.

03How we use your data

We use your information for lawful service operational purposes including:

• Account management. Creating, authenticating, and maintaining your customer profile.
• Dashboard customisation. Customising your app dashboard based on your chosen religious preferences and language.
• Service delivery. Enabling scheduled audio, video, and chat sessions with chosen scholars, and routing in-person ceremony bookings.
• Security & financials. Processing payments securely, generating billing invoices, preventing fraudulent activity, and maintaining ecosystem safety.
• Communications. Sending instant SMS OTPs, booking confirmation alerts, and push notifications.

04Payment processing & security

All transaction processing is completed securely through certified third-party payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay). Divinifyy does not store raw credit card numbers, debit card CVVs, or banking PINs on its servers. All transaction details are transmitted using industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption protocols.

05Data sharing & disclosure

Divinifyy does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third-party marketers. We share data only under the following strict conditions:

• With booked scholars. Only essential service parameters (customer name, ceremony address, booking time) are shared with the scholar you choose to book.
• Service providers. Authorised third-party infrastructure providers (Razorpay payment gateway, SMS gateway, Firebase Cloud Messaging).
• Legal mandates. When required by law, legal process, court orders, or government regulatory authorities.

06Data retention, security & deletion rights

We retain personal data only as long as your account remains active or to comply with financial and legal audits. Data is stored securely on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Supabase. Users may review or update their information in app settings, or request complete account deletion at any time.
